  Hi.. I know I missed to post on friday, I'm sorry about that.  A bit about me, I'm born and bred in a small country in Southeast Asia, Malaysia. I came from a small town in Selangor. Father's Day 2019

This year's Father's Day was a solemn occasion. We didn't celebrate it this year since dad passed away a few days before. I remembered sitting on the sofa, scrolling through twitter when I came across a trending topic, Father's Day. Everyone was wishing their dad and there I was, wishing to none. My eyes started to water and my brother noticed. He asked me, "What's wrong?" I just said, "Today's Father's Day". Then he gave me a hug saying, "Yeah, I know." My dad passed away on 13th of June, merely 7 days after his birthday. I did wish him on his birthday saying, "Hey dad, you know what day is today? It's your birthday! Happy Birthday, dad." He did let out a little smile acknowledging my wish. But he didn't say anything. Also, we had no cake for his birthday this year. We had nothing. He can't keep anything down but water. Book review 1: Holly Bodger's 5 to 1

    I've decided to do book reviews now. Deal with it as you please, sorry though if it doesn't measure up. Cheers!   This book has been sitting idly on the second row of my IKEA Billy's bookshelf since I bought it from BookXcess online store. It is my fault it has been there for so long, but I'm glad I bought this book. I didn't remember why I bought it, or any story line prior reading it.  When I first started reading this book, I saw a white lady's name, Holly Bodger. Imagine my shock when I read the first chapter and realized the setting is not in a western country, but an inspired land off of India. I always thought people would write about the things that are familiar to them, but this one is different. Or it's maybe my uninformed self that probably the author has plenty experience about India.
